As a member of the research team “Architecture of Changing Times”, the publisher of a book series on Iranian architects of the 20th century, I have studied Kamran Diba as a figure who influenced greatly contemporary architectural movements. I will address the process of archival works and data analysis that comprises this comprehensive book on Diba. I will focus on contextualization of his ideas in the social environment of Iran during 1960-70s in search of different sources of influence on young Diba to examine how he created his unique spaces as a response to the spirit of his time.
