Presenter CVs and final drafts

All conference presenters must e-mail (as attachment files) the final draft of their presentations and their outline CVs to their panel chair-discussants by June 15, 2012. Please note that since all accepted presentations have been peer-reviewed, you cannot present a paper at the conference on a topic different from that which was indicated in the abstract and the presentation title you submitted for the adjudication process.  E-mail addresses of conference participants can be obtained from the AIS directory:

To expedite this process, we ask that all conference participants make their contact e-mail addresses public/visible in the AIS directory (at least until right after the conference). Thank you.

Panel presentations should be limited to 15-20 minutes (maximum), and the chair-discussants should restrict their introduction of all panelists to no more than 2 minutes and the chair-discussants’ comments on the presentations to no more than 10 minutes, allowing ample time for audience participation. Chair-discussants will be responsible for keeping time on the panels and punctually starting and ending the panels.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO, and should not, SUBMIT THE FINAL DRAFT OF YOUR PRESENTATION TO THE AIS CONFERENCE DATABASE.

Presentations cannot be moved between panels

If you are presenting a paper on a panel, and were not originally part of a pre-organized panel submission, please do not request to be moved to another panel from the one to which you have been assigned. Panels have been organized as best as possible, based on thematic and/or chronological correspondence, availability of space and time slots, etc.

Panel times cannot be changed

Please do not request to have your panel moved to a different date or time. Such requests will be ignored. We cannot rearrange the entire conference program in order to accommodate individual preferences. Panel room numbers will be assigned at a later date and will appear on the final published program.

All panelists must be AIS members and pre-registered

All panelists (including chair-discussants) must be current AIS members and should be pre-registered for the conference, or their names will be removed from the final program. Colleagues based in Iran ONLY can complete their AIS membership and registration forms onsite after they arrive in Istanbul, paying their fees in CASH US$. Website pre-registration is open until July 31 but registrants after June 30 will not have printed name tags.

Please Do Not contact the conference Program Chair about membership, conference registration, or hotel reservations.
