2014 – habilitation degree in the field of humanities, in the discipline: cultural studies (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Warsaw)
2016 – Head of the Department of Modern Russian Culture and Theory of Cultural Systems at the Institute of Russia and Eastern Europe
2017 – promotion to the position of associate professor, Jagiellonian University
2020 – Director of the Institute of Russia and Eastern Europe
I presented the results of my research at 21 international and 35 national conferences, as well as during meetings of scientific societies (2011, Österreichisch Akademie der Wiessenschaften/ Institut für Iranistik, Vienna/Austria), and at open lectures at foreign universities (2019, Heidelberg University, Germany), (2019, St. Petersburg State University, Russia).

I am a member of Societas Iranologica Europea (since 2011), the Polish Society of Cultural Studies (since 2011), Association for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Sudies (2020), the Commission for the Culture of the Slavs of the Polish Academy of Sciences (since 2012).

My research interests grew on the foundation of philological studies in the field of Russian and Iranian studies. The knowledge of literature and culture of Russia and Iran, as well as the knowledge of Russian and Persian, as well as Old Church Slavonic, Ukrainian and Arabic, allowed me to go beyond the field of literary studies and use language as a tool for cultural research. With great curiosity and satisfaction deepening from year to year, I study Russian and Iranian culture – also in a comparative perspective, in systemic approaches. This process is accompanied by obtaining degrees and overcoming the next stages of professional career.
