Academic Profile
My dissertation is tentatively titled "Poetics and the Self in the World of Nāṣir-i Khusraw." It investigates the ancient “quarrel” between philosophy and poetry as it is played out in early medieval Persian literature, particularly in and around the work of the eleventh century CE poet/philosopher/traveler Nāṣir-i Khusraw.
