I graduated from the University of Leeds with First Class Honours in International History and Politics in 2014, and completed an MA with Distinction in Modern History in September 2015. I am currently a PhD researcher at the same institution, researching British colonial security and the Cold War in South-East Asia. This project is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council. I have previously been published in Middle Eastern Studies, the Yonsei Journal of International Studies and presented at Symposia Iranica 2015.
