Academic Profile
Sean Widlake is an independent scholar whose foci include: the intersections of faith, cultural production, and poetic recitation in the Iranian Diaspora. A recipient of a graduate degree from the University of Washington's Near Eastern Languages and Civilization Department, Widlake’s research is influenced by an interdisciplinary approach and the intersections of both history and socio-cultural anthropology.
With regards to 2021, Widlake is looking to gain admittance into a PhD program in Anthropology, Comp Lit, or an Interdisciplinary Middle East/Islamic Studies program to start Fall 2022. Please feel free to be in contact if interested in collaborating.
