Academic Profile
Received his undergraduate degree in political sciences at the University of Ankara, master’s degree in Middle East History at the University of Texas at Austin and doctoral degree in Ottoman and Iranian history from the University of Freiburg. He was a guest researcher at Bilkent, Boğaziçi, Damascus, Tehran, EHESS, Freie and Rowan universities. He is currently an associate professor at the Social Sciences University of Ankara.
