Academic Profile

Magistra Artium degree at the University of Bonn in Media Studies with focus on aesthetic communication along with Art History and Islamic Studies in 2008. Curator and associated researcher in various exhibition projects in museums and exhibition halls such as the Rheinische Landesmuseum Bonn, Art Museum Bonn, Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum - Cultures of the world in Cologne and Art Association Bonn. Working on PhD-theses on Iranian photography - a comparative analysis since October 2010. Research fellowship of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for a comparative study of historical photographs in Iran in 2010 and in 2012 in the archive of the Freer Gallery of Art and the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery at the Smithsonian Institution in USA. Since mid of May 2013 doctoral fellow at the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florence - Max-Planck-Institute, with the research group: "Objects in the Contact Zone: The Cross-Cultural Lives of Things".
