Somita Sabeti

PhD Candidate

Academic Profile

As a Guest Researcher at the School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg, I contribute to collaborative research initiatives while pursuing my PhD at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. My doctoral project explores the Iranian diaspora community, examining how memory, generational differences, and gender shape practices of resistance in urban cultural spaces. My research lies at the intersection of migration, memory, and resistance studies.
